Poinsettia
Poinsettia does not need too much water and it is advisable to water it when its soil is dry. If it is watered excessively, then it can shed its leaves. Your poinsettia prefers bright and warm places, while you should not expose it to direct contact with sunlight, especially in the summer months. If in winter the sun sees your plant a couple of hours a day there is no need to worry. Remember, however, that in order to properly develop its colorful intense shades, the sun should not see them more than 12 hours a day. The recommended temperature for the proper preservation of the Alexandrian is 12-15 degrees Celsius.
For the poinsettias that we keep in a pot, we add special liquid fertilizer for flowering plants, once a month from March to October. If we have planted poinsettia in the garden, we add complete granular fertilizer in early spring and early autumn.
