Allamanda
Allamanda or Laxative is a climbing shrub, which reaches a height of two to three meters. It comes from Brazil. Indoors it can be developed in a pot. It gives large golden yellow flowers in the shape of a trumpet. Another species, Allamanda Niriophyllos is more like a shrub and has golden yellow flowers with brown lines inside. Its leaves resemble that of oleander and are arranged in helices, around the stems. Its flowering period begins towards the end of winter and lasts until the end of spring. It needs very bright lighting. Place it in a sunny place, it is necessary for its good and proper growth and flowering. Remember that it needs a warm environment in the period of growth and cool in winter. It is also necessary to keep its soil moistened in the spring and dry in the winter months.
