FLOWER SEEDS
Petunia
PetuniaPetunias have compact, lush vegetation and fast growth, ideal for planting in flower beds and pots without needing too much care. They are particularly popular for their abundant flowering which, with proper care, lasts from early spring to late autumn. Petunia flowers, depending on the variety, can reach a size of 10-15 centimeters and we can choose between dozens of color combinations. There are many different species and varieties of petunias to plant in the garden and in pots. Petunias are divided into three main categories: a) large-flowered varieties of petunias (grandiflora type) with larger flowers, b) multi-flowered varieties (mutliflora type) with more medium-sized flowers and c) thousand-flowered varieties (milleflora type) with numerous small flowers
Passiflora
PassifloraPassiflora, the flower of passion that impresses with its distinctive shape. Passiflora is a climbing plant that grows very quickly and is a beautiful way to cover fences and pergolas. The impressive flower of the passionflower resembles the shape of a clock, which is why in several regions of our country it is known as a clock. Passiflora is native to South America. It can reach a growth of up to ten meters and gives us its wonderful flowering in the summer. There are hundreds of species of Passiflora, most climbing, although there are also some shrubs and trees among them. A well-known species of Passiflora (Passiflora edulis) is our well-known Passion fruit, whose fruits are eaten.
Poppy
PoppyThe poppy is a plant native to Europe, North Africa and the temperate regions of Asia, while it has acclimatized in North and South America. It got its name from the Celtic word “papa” which means “food for babies” because the Celts used to mix poppy juice in baby creams, as a medicine for childhood illnesses.
Pansy
PansyPansies grow best and give us abundant flowering when planted in bright spots. They are resistant to low temperatures but are sensitive to heat and intense midday sunshine. That is why during the summer, their flowering is considerably reduced. To plant pansies in a pot on a balcony, we choose points with a south or west orientation. We can keep them for a few days even inside the house, as long as we place them in a bright place near a window. Pansies are an excellent choice for planting in pots and planters.
Touch me not
Touch me notThe touchless mimosa is not just a green plant, it is a unique plant that comes to teach us that plants feel too! As you can see in our photo, mimosa is a short plant with green leaves and pink flowers. What makes the mimosa different from all the plants in the world is that as soon as it feels someone touching it, it immediately folds its leaves, even its small twigs! It is a miracle that we should all see up close and show our children. It’s a great gift idea that’s sure to impress!
