Peony
The peony genus gathers some species of herbaceous plants and shrubs. Large tubers are planted in soft and fertile soil mixed with a little sand and mature manure. After the tuber is placed, it is advisable to water the soil well, and check that it remains fresh and free from weeds. Avoid placing the plants in an excessively dark or shady place. To ensure a good prolonged flowering we need to water and fertilize regularly. Flowering lasts from April to September. The flowers are large, red, pink, yellow or white. After flowering, it does not lose its ornamental value because peonies have extremely decorative leaves that enrich our garden.
