Cyclamen
Cyclamen is a very popular winter pot plant, in most temperate countries of the world. Its flowers have pink, red, purple, yellowish-purple and white shades. Its leaves are richly decorated with silver colors. The most famous variety is known in the market under the name Cyclamen the Persian.
Its flowering season begins from early autumn and lasts until spring. Cyclamen hardly grows inside the house, because it needs low temperatures. So, in order for it to survive, the space where we will place it wants to be quite cool. High daytime temperatures cause buds to wilt and yellow the leaves. We check it daily if it needs watering. If the soil has completely dried, we immerse the pot in water for 15 minutes. Cyclamen needs fertilizer during its flowering period to give us many flowers with a long duration.
